    Depends on the plane you want to fly. Usually the controls are in the first post of the plane official thread here:

    you might want to sync you're account to steam..

    1. click d5014afd8d.png at top right of website.

    2. on left side of screen scroll down until you see this. 65cb8ab7a0.png

    The rest should be very straight forward.

    Note: I am pretty sure that is how you verify you're ownership now, I bought the game before Steam+BeamNG was a thing.

    I think he has the game but he hasn't activated his account .
    BTW , there are various controls for planes . The only one i remember is B25Mitch
