How to enable ai??

Hi guys, I've tried everything but can't work out how to set up the ai?? I get to the ai control but have no option to set it to any mode at all, am I trying to use it on am unofficial map?

 

switch to the car you want the ai to drive using tab, select a mode (for example "flee") and then switch back to your own car. the ai should start driving as soon as you switch back.

 

I don't have an option to do flee mode, I'm trying to upload a screenshot but I can't..an orange box comes up but no option for modes

 

that certainly is weird, does it always happen or only on that specific map?

I've tried other maps and it does the same thing

 

well hit escape to leave the ui menu (obviously) and select flee on the upper left option instead of "stopping".

edit: of course you have to switch to another car afterwards since the selected option will only be active for the vehicle you were controlling as you selected it.

 

This, although you'll probably want to drag the AIControl app to the bottom left corner first (click and drag the orange bar).

 

Many thanks guys this was a great help to me...However now I can't remove the ai box from the screen at all

 

Just go back into the UI editor.
