How to Download Mods *VERY DETAILED*

1st step click this tab
2nd step find the mod you want mine will be variety mod

3rd step click this button or if it is a different mod it might have a link

4th step something that looks like this should pop up

5th step click this icon on your tool bar

6th step find your downloads folder

7th step find what you downloaded

8th copy/cut it

9th open your document folder

10th find your beam ng folder

11th open it

12th open your mods folder

13th paste it in there

Why do you have to copy, cut, and paste the file, can't you just drop it into the mods folder?

 

Yeah, you can skip the copy-paste part and just put it in the mods folder.

 

In chrome it goes to downloads by default.

 

Drag and drop is basically cut copy paste, made graphic.

Put it on the wiki

 

right click and save as will let you chose the location.

 

Why not just press the install button?
Same thing, half the steps.
AND there's already a wiki page for this, no need for another thread about it.

 

Not all mods work like that, and some of us old farts like to do it manually

 

If you use the install button, the internet will explode. #jk

 

I do it manually, but most non tech people will like the convince of the install button. I agree with you for the most part, though.

 

What exactly is the point about this apart from telling people how to copy and paste?

 

Someone clearly hasn't ventured into the discussion threads for some mods.
You would be shocked how difficult this is for some people.

 

So I guess I better don't...xD
