Hey, this question is for the devs: Is it possible to put something like a meter on the website showing the total amount of money made with the alpha version copies of Drive? It will be interesting to see the amount of support there is for BeamNG. Thanks
You know humblebundle, it shows the top 20 donators (the one that payed most). Maybe something like this too with the stats?
Let's wait for the devs to give an answer, but this would be a good idea too. Maybe it's encouraging for people to pay a little more, so that'll compensate against the people who pirate this
At the same time, let's be realistic. This is a game. A business. As far as I'm concerned, it's not exactly polite to ask people how much they make, right? I dunno, just my two-cents.
Well they do when they want to brag about it and make a story for the press. In this case and at this time, yes it's not likely, but it does happen all the time in the games industry.
The money earned is a bit of a touchy subject but I'd like to see the number of copies sold, at least.
Okay, I understand. It's not really polite to ask people how much money they make and things like that. I'm sorry for my question about how many games you sold.
I dont see any problems asking how much money or how many copies is sold. You can answer or not, but its not polite not to accept any answer then. It is normal to know how many copies are sold, but in the early stages of development there can be some business strategy to it. But I'd like too to know how many other think this is gonna be great (How many copies sold) But I can see, that in the two first days, the Tech demo has been downloaded 61,720 times. I think thats is a fairly high number, for an "unknown, unhyped" game. Sniperpike
if it is enough that they are still running and are still going to keep developing for at least another year, than i can imagine it is at least 150,000 copies. but that is just an assumption. really i wish them the best of luck for this game to be successful. because that means that we may get more content and a much, much better optimized, and intensive game.
