And I live in the tech capital of the world? ...mhm. (This is on a good day, and it never goes faster than this, ever)
Although I use an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi, I decided to plug in my not so great WiFi adapter to see the result, it's a lot worse!
Mine's so bad it disconnects every two minutes on average. Took all night and part of the morning to upload 715mb of my Tennessee USA map. Can't get screenshots uploaded half the time. 256kb/dl is the high point for this connection. Downloading GTAV would take all week off Steam IF I had a desire to play an inferior game to this one :x I'd upload a pic but it's PMS'ing right now. Our DSL here in the boonies is max 2mb DL, 512k UP I believe. Up north in the city, the internet SCREAMED, but here in the boonies I would have better luck stapling my files to an angry cow.
Just in case anyone was feeling bad about their connection. Ever since Verizon sold us to Frontier service has been on a constant decline. Switching to COX 150/10 soon. For only 25% more USD/mo. Here's an article that gives a nice overview of my frustrations. http://arstechnica.com/business/2016/05/frontier-outages-persist-35-days-after-switch-from-verizon/
not very fast - fastest i got was about 95 mbit and im paying for 100 running over wifi since i dont have a choice
Very happy considering we pay for 100mbps Down. --- Post updated --- Upload is sh*t but that's pretty ok.
