How do you put decals on windows

Dear readers,


I'm sorry if this is a repeat thread but how do you put images on the windows here's an example of what I've done:

My edits in paint.Net

Notepad edits


Game results


Can someone see my problem or tell me how to add decals to the windows. I think it's possible as kyle has done it here :



Any help/ guidance will be appreciated.


Rokzy Rules.

 

duplicate the window file
make edits to duplicate
open beamng
goto a the grid map that has objects
get the car you want to change
open up world editor
select car
go into Material Editor(F4)
select glass material(for pickup it is pickup_glass)
goto layer 2
under diffuse map click edit
browse for the edited duplicated window file and select it
press open
click save button in material editor
DONE
