How do you open the vehicle door?

I don't know how to open the door. What do I have to do to get the "trigger" to show up? I put the cursor on it and nothing happened.

 

I haven´t tried, but maybe only the front doors are openable?

 

Is that an official unibody?

Why would the devs do half a job? Of course the rear doors are openable.

 

Yes, the official content is intact. As a matter of fact, I have not been able to use this feature (like opening the tailgate of the D-series with the cursor) for quite some time.
I would like to know what I should check in-game for a solution.

Yes, I checked and there seems to be nothing wrong.

 

weird question: are you on windows 7? when i was on windows 7, node grabbing detection failed a lot and i wonder if this problem stems from the same reason.

 

I am using Windows 10. My computer specs are low though lol

 

Try to press alt+u a couple times. I found the door latches are turned off when the ui is turned off. Grasping at straws ik

Does it work in safe mode? (Found in the launcher)

 

As @Bauer33333 said, try safemode out and see if that fixes the problem. If it does work, remove all mods and move it to a separate folder (any folder, as long as it isn't connected to beam) and do a cache deep clean. If that works too, it's likely a mod issue, and you will need to single out the bad mod.

Move the cursor to the doorknob until you find a green box. Then you left click it.

 

Thanks for letting me know! It appears that the green box is lost in my game. I will try to transfer the data and then re-install the game.

 

The trigger box need to be green to open it . It Can be tricky sometimes

 

I did a clean install and still the trigger box does not show up.
(You can't see the cursor in the screenshot, but that's with it close to the doorknob)
Is there a feature in the settings that would allow the trigger box to show up?
