First of all, this is not like the old thread. This time i want to know how to edit beamng official car files using notepad++. When I go to [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles\sbr.zip\vehicles\sbr] it doesn't shows the [Edit Using Notepad++] button in the right click menu. It just shows 5 buttons: Open, Cut, Copy, Delete, and Properties. But the strange thing is that when i move it too desktop, it shows the full menu. So i edited it there, ad moved it back, and then the SBR4 broke. i tried it with the Covet, and it broke too. But I restarted the game it started working again, but my changes wouldn't show up. I uploaded a picture of the good menu and the other one.
Hi , you may take a look at this wiki page before : http://wiki.beamng.com/How_To_Edit_Vehicle_Files , an then , it's way safer to not edit the vehicles files on the steamapps\....beamnNG...\ directory , make a safe copy before and please use the mods directory (on your documents/Beamng) , it's safer
