How do I move the free camera without moving the car?

Sometimes I want to move the free camera but the car moves as well so when I press F7 to teleport it to the camera it's destroyed because it crashed into something... pls help

you have a few options:

turn the engine off

rebind controls so the camera controls and car controls are not the same

or, the best option,

pause the game while in free cam

Sounds like you changed the vehicle's control to WASD, which is the same as the camera
(By default vehicle's uses Arrow Keys and camera WASD)

If so, you want to change the camera controls to something else then, or they will be conflicting.
