how do i make thumbnails for my car configs?

i would like to know how to make thumbnails so i know what cars are what instead of a question mark

 

Use this and then use the thumbnail generator for perfection.

 

what i don't know is what is the "new thumbnail generator"

 

It's one of the apps. If you open the apps selector (on the sidebar), it's about halfway down. Then switch to the showroom map, load up your vehicle, select the "stay on map" option, and click generate thumbnail. It will put the thumbnails under documents/beamNG/vehicles.
