Hi. I am wondering how to import a .dae file into a map, namely Nadeox1's spikestrip. since it doesn't have an "official" page, I cant find instructions on how to import it. I'm not savvy on using any editors of any sort, so talk to me like I'm 5.

    Thanks!

Do you even read the video description?

Usage: Drop it in one of your level folder "ex. Gridmap", and using the ingame editor "LIBRARIES, MESH, Go to where you put it, load it and change the Collision mode to "VISIBLE MESHES"

Yes I did read the whole description and followed the link to the page on how to import it, but I didn't really get it. still don't. Now I probably sound really dumb right now, but that's why im asking the question. I went to the in-game editor, went to the window that said "scene tree" then to library/meshes/levels/Gridmap where I put the .dae, materials.cs, and the image. it wouldent show up. what am I doing wrong?

If it doesn't show up it means it's not there.

No, its there. Its in C:/program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/beamng.drive/alpha_prerace/levels/Gridmap. It still wont show up, even though all three files are there.

Post a picture of your folder and a picture of the editor.

I must be dumb. I was putting it in my OLD drive directory, from before it went on steam. So I got it into the map. so now I have one more question (I must be annoying, eh?) my object editor only moves selected objects in increments of 10 on any axis. how do I fix this?

Sorry for all the trouble! (this will be my last question! hopefully.)

Whoa leave him alone. Give him a chance, I see this time and time again with new forum members getting cut down like that. Totally unnecessary in my opinion.

Nadeox1 is the creator of the mod and the usage instructions are in the description. Some people simply don't read. 'Nuff said.

I don't believe you have a very good track record when it comes to commenting on people's first posts yourself to be honest.

Well. Most of my random 'attacks' on people, or my complete randomness is due to my mental issues. They cause me to go on rage fits, have mood swings, etc. I don't try.
