how do i get automatic police lights back?

    so i just updated beamNG to 0.35, and when i get traffic out i drive a police car and drive around, but the lights don't come on auto, so its really hard to find suspects, like really hard. i have looked in menu. options, etc. so.. how exactly do i get it back? or do i have to just get used to it?
