erm.. I know this is probably a really stupid question but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere even after multiple searches with different wording.

I'm just curious as to how I can check my FPS. I can estimate, but I really want to know the exact number when I use certain cars or maps. I think you used to be able to do it with the debugging menus in the old build, but I'm currently using the experimental build where the debugging got overhauled. So how do I check?

Open the new GUI, renderer, toggle FPS

Ctrl+F is also the hotkey combo and has been since the first public release. A UI can be overhauled every version but hotkeys generally stay the same between versions. This goes for all software.

You have to download more RAM, Then it should show the FPS in the starboard west dimension of your screen.;)

If you don't want the huge window CTRL + F creates, just type metrics(fps) into the console to show a small one with just the FPS.

Meh, not really a major issue at 1440p, but good to know! Does the FPS option from the new render debugger GUI do this?

The metrics(fps) command is just a Torque3D feature.

There is also a UI app done for this, so you don't gotta do metrics(fps) everytime :)
