I've just released my map Aurora Park and it's receiving some good feedback on discord and has over 800 views so far in the two days it's been released. I really want to upload it to the Repo now so even more of the community can find and play it but when I try to upload, it says "The Uploaded File Is Too Large". It's currently at 1.64gb and I've seen many maps that are this large or larger in file size. How can i get around the limit?
I think you need to contact one of the community moderator/mod reviewers somehow. --- Post updated --- Yeah, Bob's Los Injurus is alot larger, so I think you just need to get special permission since it's so very large.
I would try to optimize it if possible, most of the time enormous map size is because there are tons of assets and 90% of them are unused
Went from 2.4gb to 1.64gb. Trust me, it's pretty optimized for now. I will go through later on and remove everything unused.
