How can I make the AI more difficult to race against?

    I'm specifically trying to use the Late Model Stock Car mod on the Thunder Valley track, but I've tried other things and I cannot get the AI to be even close to difficult. I've raised their risk, and their route speed, but I can still keep up with them in first gear. What do I need to do to make them challenging?
