Introducing the Hirochi Sunburst EV! I've been working on this mod for a while now. It's not perfect by any means but I do find it quite fun to drive. Current Features 8.1s 0-60 mph! 6-Speed Dual-Clutch EV! BECAUSE WHY NOT??? A battery for maximum savings! Regenerative braking for those who drive with one pedal! NO FUEL REQUIRED, ONLY ENERGY Fully digital cluster (with interactive information menu!) Not so fancy EV badge! Comes in ugly Prius' Frosty Green Mica color!* * Prius fans might actually like this color, I'm just poking fun at the color I don't actually hate it Not Working Currently: Pop-up display for "cannot drive in park" on cluster. Wow this mod looks amazing, I am a sucker for electric vehicles in BeamNG. I really like the digital cluster that you have implemented. If possible, could the cluster change color depending on throttle input like honda and toyota cars. Like green for low throttle input and then blue for power mode ish.
It cannot right now, I've been looking into making different tiers of motors for sport trim levels. That will probably come after release though. The EV has 3 drive modes "Eco", "Sport", and "TCS Off". The colors change based on that setting (green = eco, red = sport, grey = no TCS). I might look into having it change based on throttle input though.
But please, can you make an (optional, artificial) engine sound? I absolutely lose sensation of speed when there“s no engine sound.
Yeah what happened to this one? It's looked pretty finished and you even said that the would had come soon and then nothing for more than 6 months.I hope you will get time/motivation to release it!
this is really cool great job edit : i just realised this thread got bumped by someone and i didn't notice it lol
I apologize everyone. I lost interest in BeamNG.drive modding back then. I'll try to finish this and release it eventually.
I'm not sure if LKA will ever be in the mod, but it might be added someday, not sure. That display is more of a "haha LKA is always broken on cars" meme. Interesting, might have to look into that. The way I implemented regen braking is very "hacked together" to make it work lol
