I have a truck mesh in Blender, and I just finished separating all of the parts. When I tried putting the mesh on the D15 Node/Beam structure, different parts seemed to rotate along different points. It's hard to explain, so please refer to the pictures below. I don't have much experience with Blender or content creation, so the issue might be simple. If you have any idea how to fix this, I can send you the mod or provide specific pictures. Also, just as a small reward, you can have the beta of this truck when it's closer to completion. Thanks in advance! When spawned, the truck looks like this. All of the panels align properly. Aside from some parts slightly warping, everything is fine. This is what the N/B looks like with the mesh over it. However, if I turn the car, all of the parts rotate along different points. The hood, cab, doors, and fenders are fine. The other parts (in the pic, you can see the bed and dashboard) rotate differently. If I turn 90 degrees, the bed and dashboard rotate to either side of the truck. N/B at 90 degrees. Also, if I flip the car, the meshes shift vertically. All of the parts move separately from the N/B.
Make sure your pivots and rotation are all set to 0,0,0 and collapsed/reset/frozen/whatever it's called in your 3D program. Also make sure your node group names match when assigning flexbodies to them. Also, you may need to open your .DAE after exporting in a text editor, find <up_axis>Y_UP</up_axis> and change Y_UP to Z_UP.
Thanks for the response! I tried all of those things, and none of them worked. All of the parts are at 0,0,0 for rotation and all node group names match. I tried messing with the up_axis, but it only rotated the mesh. I also tried working with the origins, but it didn't change anything.
I've reply for texture help and other in your original post, can I see yours files by mp to help you?
Apply location, rotation and scale inside Blender for EACH object, selecting them all at once wont fix your problem. So one by one do the objects that rotate off their axis (imported from here) This will fix your problem for sure. Now keep working on the Dodge
