help with modding

i am trying to make a mod. i have been following the intro to vehicle creation form and i have done everything, from what i can tell, right and it pops up as being a mod in the mod menu but the car dosent show up in the vehicle selector

 

What does the mod type say in the mod menu?

 

it says unknown

 

Make sure to put it in a "vehicles" folder in the directory so the game knows it is a vehicle.

 

i did that and it still says unknown
