Well to start off, I really just need some help when it comes to the inner workings of the map, not terrain stuff. Does anyone know of any (more updated) tutorials they could point me to, to help me out? I've tried about 3 times going off of what's currently posted in beamNGs map creation tutorial but with no success, it's severely outdated and provided almost no help at all. Any help is appreciated ~
yeah the wiki is literally useless and always was. They should be working on some new documentation, so once thats done you should give that a try.
Just use world editor to create a terrain and add trees, then import dae objects for houses and things like that and voila, you got your map.
