I tried to make my own carbon fiber hood for the ETK-I, but for some reason the texture appears too zoomed in. Its material uses the same vanilla CF texture as the Pessima, 200BX and Covet. Scaling the UVs wouldn't help, in fact making them larger would only make things worse. I suspect the mistake is somewhere in the model, because the material looks fine from what I've seen. Also, this is my first attempt at Blender and overall 3D stuff, so there's probably a few rookie mistakes I made.
    Thanks in advance!

Easy fix. Just massively enlarge the mesh from the first & second screenshot in the UV unwrapping window, then it will be fixed

Tried that. It just made a pattern of the car's UV map appear, and the carbon texture didn't change at all

Looks like what you're editing only the normal map, not the actual texture.

Are you editing the first or second UV map?

Models in BeamNG have 2 UV maps, I think you are supposed to change both, but not sure

Yup, that was my problem. Was editing the wrong UV map.
Works fine now, thanks to all :D
