HELP! Creating an engine from scratch

I would like to create an engine for the beamng drive but I don't know how I can do it.
I wanted to choose the number of cylinders the displacement and I would like to put a turbo.
I already know how to configure a beamng drive engine but I don't know how to create one.
Is this possible?

 

Of course. The easiest way to go about creating an engine is to modify one of the existing ingame engines

yeah but that's a shortcut, I prefer to make them from scratch. Just more impressive that way.

Well, if you know how to code in jbeam then obviously making one from scratch is better but for someone that has little to no knowledge, modifying an existing one is the way to go

You just change the number in the engine's name if you want it to show a different one but that won't change the power or anything as it's rather just "cosmetic". To change the power you need to modify the torque curve
