Help! Cannot Start BeamNG Drive

Hello,

I acquired the Demo version of BeamNG.drive today. I had just finished installing and wanted to play, and then all of a sudden, a windows popped up with this message: "The program can't start because X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." That's rather abnormal.

I was wondering why it was saying that. I clicked on "OK", and another window displayed itself: "Unable to load game library: C:\Users\*******\AppData\Local\BeamNG-Techdemo-0.3\BeamNGSandbox.x86.dll. Please make sure it exists and the latest DirectX is installed." I have the latest version of DX, and I'm not exactly sure as to why this isn't working. Any help whatsoever on this situation would be quite helpful.

I am running on an HP 2000 Notebook PC, with Windows 8.0 installed, if that's integral information. Requests for other information are granted by request.

Specs? Have you tried reinstalling DirectX?

It wont let me download it in general! I din't wanna just waste 20$

 

I suggest you make a new thread. But it sounds more of a computer issue than a BeamNG issue.

 

I don think it's the game, do you have enough RAM for it?
