    Hi all.

I have mentioned this topic some time ago, with some negative feedback.
We've seen some great advancments in lighting with the last few updates.
But would like to bring this up again.
    Headlamp beam patterns

After the first time I mentioned this the feedback was, well to make it short. Not possible. And then shortly after I added the "Fait one" (Fiat Uno) mod. This mod simulated the headlamp beam pattern. And did it quite good! I will add some screenshots showing this.

I do not know how the developer did it, so today I tried a small experement. Used a vehicle and had a wooden crate that was suspended in the air. I then parked the vehicle quite close to the floating crate. This blocked out some of the original headlamp beam. Although mis aligned a bit, it did cast a beam pattern close to modern day bi-xennon projector headlamps fitted on real vehicles. My point is this, what if an invisible barrier is placed infront of the headlamps casting a beam pattern. Or some other way? If it could be achieved with a mod, why not then with the real thing?

    Still an awesome game though!

the ETK 1300 also does a great job a simulating the headlight beam patern/cuttoff area. and I think the Vivace should have had it since the start cause it has projector led bulbs

This is awesome. Maybe I can help to align it. Could you send me the file so I can try? :)

    Thank you.

This is how the Vivace headlights looks ingame, which I feel is not correct since it is a new car, low beam to high beam respectively

Okay, I thought you have arleady tried working on it. Meanwhile @PostmortemSlayer updated his mod: https://www.beamng.com/threads/head...led-and-projector-v0-19-1.67008/#post-1142303
Now, I will do just a few tweaks to get beam pattern I want, and this is it. :)

I really think that a realistic headlights pattern would be a great improvement to night driving.
Indeed Satsuma 210 and ETK 1300 feels way more immersive than vanilla cars at night because of this.
