Played it, it's fun yes. The ones after Saints Row 3 are basically a big copy-paste, I stopped following after the fourth..
I like 3&4 (Though 4 is basically 3 with different cars and characters ), but 2 on PC is near horrifying. Controls (for me) are laggy, driving feels like all of the cars are from a drifting game, Audio quality is bad, runs at 20FPS MAX, Has that greyish filter, and the worst part is you have to do activities to unlock missions.It's a shame because SR2 has the most in-depth car customization, best story and has the most "alive" city from all SR games.
Yeah, sr2 for pc is trash its a horrible port i think its the only time console wins over pc i play it on Xbox 360, although im not sure why they added the grey tone to it :/
I remember someone moved the Xbox 360 while i was playing the game and managed to destroy the disc so I had to get a replacement. One feature i liked about the game was that the vehicles you modify stay in your garage even after you wrecked them.
Its volition's fault they ruined sr3 and over. i mean its a 6.5 out of 10 for me. why does it have to be so different compared to saints row 3? the characters act way different its like the other characters just got their brain smashed just imagine this And yes ik that this forum was boosted
Mega bump but it is my thread so i'm ok with that. They played off Dex in gooh like he's nothing, they just put a purple visor on a npc and called it dex.
Yeah they are lazy now... I've played it but never completed it cause I hugely dislike the idea of levelling up every time to access the next mission by completing boring and repetitive side-missions. Good thing the next installments in the series dropped that part.
Saints Row the Third and 4 were my favorites personally. SR2's driving was terrible, but the combat was good. SRTT and SR4 were hilarious (especially with all the references to things). Then there was the Nolan voice... that was pretty great too.
