An idea of mine, Astro/Safari style minivan out of H-Series. I did some quick sketches on Paint to see how it looks like. Details: - Shortened body - Skinny taillights - Straight front and rear early bumper - Sliding side door - Side trim, antenna and optional Phantom grill to complete the look It would also look good with early mirrors and interior from D-series.
Oh, awesome! Chevy Astro in Beam! I love it already. One thing, the rear wheel arches/wheels look a little to far backward, is that just because of the frame (I'm assuming this was made by shortening the frame and body), but I kinda like it, as it differentiates it from the Astro.
Brilliant! I love the grille on the green one. Are the headlights supposed to be hidden behind clamshells?
Awesome! I love shortened vans. I tried shortening the H series in Blender for a week but than decided to uninstall the program.
I'm slowly getting this to work, can I release it when it's done? Of course I will add you to credits
This addition will be interesting for me. Good luck creating it, I hope you finish it --- Post updated --- I.Want.It. !!
I feel like that's a bit short to fit another sliding door in the rear to be like an Astro. Will it be called the Gavril Cosmo as shown in the picture? And yes, i know it only has one sliding door, the wheels and size just prevent rear sliding doors.
Looks a little short for a sliding door… --- Post updated --- @driftbox this is yours compared to the original concept. Yours seems much to short to have a sliding door. @KyotoBlissard ’s original could barely fit a door!
I'm gonna make it longer because it looks ugly, I think I did something wrong in blender because it was fitting image size --- Post updated --- yes.
That's awesome! I can't wait to see more. Build it the way you like! If it was me doing the work I would set the length and wheelbase to 1985 Astro first to see if it looks right to the eye. If it looks weird due to H-series having extra long nose then I would adjust the dimensions. My sketches were randomly shortened in Paint. I love the name Cosmo, it was suggested by another Reddit member, feel free to use it. If this van will not be located inside H-series than you can just call it M-series to be more game friendly and add Cosmo as trim name. I really would like to see the bumpers simplified the way I did. Narrowing the taillights look like a lot of work since they contain many parts and lights. Good luck!
Just like the H-Series is the Vanster (H15 Vanster, H45 Cabster), this could be the M-Series Cosmo (or Cosmos)
