GTX 1070 or RTX 2060?

So this is my nineteenth post about GPUs, but I want to get as much knowlege as a can, so I don’t care

Should I go with a 1070 or a 2060 for better performance? They are a similar price, and looking around there is mixed information

Don’t suggest a Vega 56 OR 64 OR ANY OTHER AMD CRAP, I’ve decided against that

 

Literally get the one that's cheaper, if you can find similar ones get the one from the newer gen because you may as well.

 

The 1070 is a little cheaper, but I’ll spend an extra 30 bucks if the 2060 is better

To be real, the RTX 2060 is a better choice since it's just as powerful as a GTX 1070 Ti, but cheaper.
And no, AMD GPUs aren't crap, they just aren't as competent as Nvidia's offerings.

You could always negotiate price of 1070 as it is not so new and 2060 is giving better price/performance ratio, which could then lead shop to lower price of 1070 so they can get rid of it.
