Graphics

I just recently upgraded from a GTX 970 4gb to an ASRock RX6600 challenger D 8gb but my FPS is still the same 40-50 it was with the 970 but none of my graphics settings has changed and my limit frame rate is turned off. Is there something I need to do in game?

beamng is cpu intensive thats why, so get a better cpu

 

I have an R5 5600 but I understand

 

I dont know what that equates to with intel but i have a rtx 2060 super 8gb, i7 9700k and i get roughly 50-60fps on max settings and 40-50 when iv got 3ish other cars spawned

 

try to turn off vsync or getting a screen with a biger refresh rate
