sorry for posting so much recently ill stop spamming the forums soon But it's gonna be my brother's birthday soon and I want to get him a GPU for his PC so he can run the games that i do. What would be the cheapest GPU that could run BeamNG at low settings, 900p around ~30-40 FPS? My budget is maximum 50 dollars. He has an i3 3300, and 4 GB of RAM.
Used 1050 I think, for such low budget I think those are pretty much only options. AMD cards have black streaks issues etc. but might be cheaper, but I'm not sure which model would be good.
Yeah, if you are going so cheap, you might want to consider an rx 560 or something cheap like that AMD GPUs depreciate faster, but there’s a reason for that I don’t like AMD, but if your budget is so low, they might be the way to go --- Post updated --- Or maybe an old gt730 --- Post updated --- That’s probably better
Probably would not want to try out, it might be slightly faster than iGPU, but does that even support DX11? Game requires DX11 nowdays.
I don’t know There are very limited options under 50 bucks There is literally no 1050 under 50, used or new I guess just go with the Radeon rx 560 --- Post updated --- Or the gtx 580, those are relatively cheap used Ignore the new ones, they’re so expensive because they are no longer in production
There are some 1050s in the used market for around 50$ but you can choose between the GTX 770/760/750Ti that have some good prices if you search well. For 900p gaming tho you can look for the GTX 5xx series. I found this lot for just 50$ and it even has 2 gpus so you can do some SLI stuff if you're into that. Probably the inability to use DirectX12 is the main negative reason not to buy old hardware. It's incredible tho how expensive are the GTX 600 series gpus even if they're what, 6 years old?
Look those: https://www.ebay.com/itm/EVGA-GeFor...h=item1cc7407b1a:g:mHAAAOSwCgtcQrsq:rk:3:pf:0 https://www.ebay.com/itm/EVGA-Nvidi...=item1cc91fce6b:g:HigAAOSwt0dcCjcI:rk:13:pf:0 Around 120$ for a 6 year old not top of the line gpu. For around that same price you can get a GTX 770 or an even better gpu if you're lucky.
