    Hello,
I just bought this game this morning but my laptop won't run this game on his dedicated graphics card. I fount other threads about this problem but they are having nvidia graphics cards and i have a amd graphics card so the solutions won't work for me. :( I have an amd radeon hd 6520g onboard graphics card (very slow..) and a amd radeon hd 6650m dedicated graphics card. (fast enough) In the options menu of the game i can only see my radeon hd 6520g graphics card and a GFX Null Device, which is probably my amd radeon 6650m. But when i set the game to the GFX Null Device it says that the game must restart so it can use that device, but when the game is restarted it still runs on the amd radeon 6520G! Even if i disable the ultra low power state of my dedicated graphics card an apply an overclock so it stays active and run the game full screen as administrator, the game just can't see my dedicated graphics card.... Other games like GTA iV, world of tanks and ARMA 2 are running just fine on the dedicated graphics card. Is there already an solution for this problem?

Many, many, many thanks to the guy that solves my problem.:p

Is it not just a known bug with the settings reporting the wrong card? I'm running Nvidia Optimus and all the settings ever show me is the Intel card as oppose to the GTX660m, however the game runs well enough to make me suspect that it must be using the performance card.

Dumb question, but have you actually tried playing to see what performance is like, ie is it like mine (and many others I believe) where its just a setting reporting bug, and the actual game runs fine?

Well, i've tried to play the game but even on very low the fps is between the 5 and 15, unplayable.. I have an amd a6 3400m processor that runs @1,4ghz. When i overclock the cpu to 2,8ghz the game does runs smoother, the fps is between 15 and 30 but when i have a map with much trees and stones and things my fps is verly low. Is a 2,8Ghz quadcore not enough for this game? BTW i have 8GB memory.

My brother wanted to play the tech demo but he doesn't have his own computer and my dad doesnt trust him with his anymore so he had to do it on my moms laptop. (some gigantic touchscreen HP netbook) it has switchable graphics between intel and some amd chip. for some reason when playing on the amd its FILLED with artifacts. its fine on the intel but gets very bad performance.

AMD processors are known to get bad performance in this game, and 2.8 GHZ is not an entirely favorable speed for this game (it even starts at that stock clock speed?), even with an Intel chip. Press J to pause the physics. If you see a sizable FPS increase, then your processor is not good enough. If your framerate doesn't increase a ton while the physics are paused, then your issue is with the graphics.

This happens with my laptop. I have an nVidia GTX675M and I was able to force the game to run on the nVidia. You can right click the game, highlight "Run with graphics processor" and choose the more powerful card. If you'd like a guide showing a more permanent fix (for nVidia cards, I don't have an AMD powered laptop), let me know.
