getting real thing

Hello everyone,

Ive been using the cracked version of beamng drive for a while now and I Finally got enough to buy it and I just bought it now. But before I install it should I delete the cracked version and will the old mods I have work or will I have to reinstall? Thanks in advance.

 

well there's no drm, so there's no such thing as a cracked version, and even if there was, the user folder would be the same between them, so there's nothing to change.

 

So I mean you just admitted to illegal activity on the internet so that was kinda rarted

 

Yeah I know, I apologize to the devs for pirating. Just thought it was fun game and didn't have money at the time. I got it now tho

 

I mean you gonna get the cops at your door for pirating a 30 dollar game, but it’s your life.

Anyway you should be able to just drop all the mods from the illegal one into the normal one and it’ll work fine

lol cops got better things to do than hunt down some dude that pirated a videogame.
either way, glad he's buying it now. All he'd have to do is just transfer all the zip files into the new mods folder and delete the pirated version.

 

it doesn't really depend on the country. you can't just call the cops because you think somebody pirated something, there's a process that has to be followed. and depending on the severity, you'll have anything from just have some suits knocking at your door to a full blown special ops raid.
