getting new gfx card

    i will be getting a new gfx card soon and was wondering if upgrading from a nvidia gt 630 to a gtx 765 would get me much more fps

    It depends what version 630 you have and what 760 youre getting, but chances are youll get a 20-30 ish fps jump, depending on your current config.

    And also what your GPU is. This would make a bigger difference. I have a 4700MQ i7 and a GT750M and the lowest fps i have seen at max settings is bout 24fps.

    i have 16 gb ram and 3rd gen i7 possessor and i get like 23 fps-44fps atm on hy-ist but my game crash when i put on lowest

    and itll be a 2gb 765gtx

    If you have no problem with spending that much money then by all means, go for it! If you wanna save a couple bucks then just go for a 660TI. I just bought a 650TI and it gave me a pretty big performance boost over my HD 7750. (Which rivaled the GTX 640)

    Whatever you buy, just make sure it's at least 2GB.

    thank you i will bare this in mind and its not that much money to get a 765 only 299£ abd for 2gb but what is highest i can get? for about 200-350£

    I just got my ASUS DirectCU II OC GTX 760, and this thing is an absolute tank. Hasn't gone above 70*C yet with stock settings, definitely one to look into. With a 2nd gen i7 @ 3.4 GHz and 16 GB 1600 MHz RAM I see about 60 FPS, but it doesn't go up all that much when I lower settings so I assume I've got a CPU bottleneck now.
