The GPU and PSU fans are both *INTAKES*. The GPU fan sucks air into the GPU, it exhausts out of the vent on the I/O panel on the back of the GPU. The PSU fan sucks air into the PSU and kicks it out of the back of the PSU (or underneath my PC due to funky ass PSU mounting). Them pointing towards each other is fine, they are sucking air from the gap, not throwing hot air into it. The system you are running is most likely a negative pressure system in which it is very hard to heat soak the area. Get HWMonitor or similar open and see what components are actually hitting what temperatures. If its CPU, then yes, bigger CPU cooler. Hyper 212 Evo is what I use, not the most expensive cooler but fine for most rigs, keeps mine at about 45c as a max temp anyway and idles at just above ambient temperature. GPU, then yeah, bigger side fan, I'd set it to blow air into the case.
IIRC you got unbanned early for calling Sam a fag? - - - Updated - - - >mfw that is still in my signature Thought I'd removed it. Whatever, it's staying now. Best quote ever.
So things and stuff are going on with Reddit. I don't really care that much, as long as /r/cars doesn't go private.
well'p, /r/pcmasterrace has gone private now where am i supposed to get my daily dose of circle-jerk, satire, and the very rare post of actual news
Reddit is absolutely imploding right now. I hope that this doesn't affect my beloved /r/notinteresting and /r/Shitty_Car_Mods. Those are the greatest sub reddits ever.
Steam got their act together last night. I got my card redeemed, I got rFactor back and my account is no longer locked.
Oh yeah. Didn't I yell at tdev or something like that? I can't remember.. At first I got your ban extended.
I jokingly called him a fag, then you posted on the forums about it and got my ban extended and then I was unbanned for some reason.
Can someone tell me what is this fuss with reddit all about? Why are more and more subreddits going private?
Ever heard of the sub IAMA? Well, with celebrities posting in there commonly, it was a big money maker for Reddit since people would always give gold to celebrity comments, which funds Reddit. The main person behind the verification and support of IAMAs, Victoria (essentially she transcribed and responded to messages on behalf of the person who was with her, instead of having them waste time learning the site), was suddenly let go with no known reason. Since IAMA had lost the sole person responsible for half of their AMAs even functioning, they quickly shut down while things were discussed. Lots of other subs have also shut down out of solidarity to lower site traffic and force the admins to do something about it. My main frustration today was the fact that NeoGAF was down as well, so I didn't have much in the way of forum reading/game news. Seems to be back up now though.
I've just tested how much my headphones can take. Let's just say more than my ears. No, really, my ears are comepletely dead.
