Re: General discussion chat I've always thought of the tendency of American cars to be automatics as speaking on a cultural/geographic level. Manual cars are more pleasurable to drive, and automatics are more convenient. Where it becomes cultural is that in Europe and the Far East, cities and towns are usually very near to one another, and alternate means of transportation are plentifully available and openly encouraged. As a result, citizens from these regions treat the use of an automobile as a rare privilege, and one to be experienced as immersively as possible. In the United States and Canada, on the other hand, cities and towns are much more spread out over a wider area, and alternate means of transport are much rarer. Thus, driving becomes much more a chore. A chore made more convenient by way of an automatic transmission. And, yes, the laziness thing. Australia is also pretty sparse and I don't think it has the same thing going on.

Re: General discussion chat actually, people have overclocked the pentium to up to 4.6GHZ on stock cooler with a stable clock and decent temps, so i see no reason why irock can't get away with 4.4ghz or whatever - - - Updated - - - i suggest moving the xbox 360 and that router or modem or whatever it is so that their not blocking the giant vent on the top of the xbone that way it can actually breath
