Solved Gears numbers on steering wheel

Is it possible to attach gear display to steering wheel? I've got gears display from sunburst.

I think is 2 options: add two functions to one prop or two props have the same mesh. Does any option is possibility?

Is it even remotely possible? I didn´t heard anything about a display on a prop. Somebody did make a navigation system that retracts into the dashboard but with beams not a prop

The gear number display is available on the race and hillclimb versions of the sunburst IIRC

It is possible, I had the sat-nav and led's on a steering wheel prop which work more or less the same way as the gear numbers, it broke in an update though. Take the mesh that's the gear display and add it onto the steering wheel mesh (make sure it keeps it's material and that material is in your material.cs for the steering wheel), it needs to go just behind the surface you want it to appear on, like it is in the dashboard. You need the .lua that runs it and the the props in a prop section (in the transmission slot works) that turn each gear on and off.

The gears will just display above the bit of mesh that has the correct material, whether it's in the dashboard or part of the steering wheel.

That's what the Sunburst does, right?
Really they could update that and use the same system the satnav uses (an HTML page for the display).
