Gearing

I was wondering how to change the gear settings to automatic gear shifting, because I don't like to shift, I just want it automatically.

 

Press Q. It changes the shift modes.

 

Arcade automatic is the default...

 

Case 1: You just spawned a car

You start with the shifting in Arcade. Typical GTA-like steering and driving

Case 2: You have a manual car on manual mode

You use keys to shift up and down, down key only brakes.

Case 3: You have an automatic car on automatic mode (not arcade)

Same as with the manual mode but you dont change gears, unless you want to make the car go backwards or have it not moving.

Check the "(A)" or "(M)" next to the car selection screen to know what's the tranny you will get when you spawn the car, also check on the right side of the screen, it will tell you which one is it.
