Hello. I have been working on my first car project for some time. Generic Electric Automotive 2S It's a C-Segment EV sedan made pretty much from scratch. Here is how it deforms in some frontal crash tests: Small overlap - 64 km/h, 25 percent offset Wall impact - 56 km/h, 50 percent offset I wanted to make the battery not deform so easily in crashes, similar to real EVs. It is very much WIP as you can see from the pictures. I will try to post regular updates on here when I make progress.
fact : ev cars have a center of mass that are very close to the ground that make them very hard to roll over cause of the weight of batterys
Working on latches. Will also add the missing doors and trunk soon. Center of gravity may or may not be ideal right now, it has extra nodes to simulate weights of missing parts such as doors, tailgate, interior etc.
if you want to make a modern and simple looking ev car, you should make it look like a tesla but lore friendly and a bit different ( that my opinion )
It won't be looking much like a real life car made lore friendly, I kinda drew this car then made it a 3d model without thinking of other cars. Maybe I could take more inspiration from real cars if I make versions of this or maybe a newer model.
