Hey all, Ive been working on a big mod pack for the T series that joins several of my projects together. It will add a whole bunch of diesel and gas engines, all with custom prototypical meshes and custom sounds. Most of these are entirely fictional, with a few that are based of IRL designs. Some of them are very strange configs that don't exist IRL, for those I used engineSim to record prototypical sounds. It also includes a few custom hoods for the conventional cab T series to create a "tractor" config with an overhanging engine and setback axle. (EFC's twin steer mod required as this is achieved by essentially removing the 1st front axle for the twin steer and beefing up the 2nd). Also adds an inverted windshield cab (broken nose style), and some large off road wheels and tires. I am still working on it at the moment but it is almost ready to release, just wanted to test the waters see what people thought of it as this will be my first mod ever. Thank a lot, glad yous guys like it!! Im currently on holiday so work is on hold for now, but its pretty much done appart from a bit of testing and fine tuning i have to do. it should be ready in June when I get back
this looks so freaking awesome i love ultra heavy duty logging rigs what are the engines though or is that more of a surprise
So for the more traditional ones theres gas and diesel I6s, diesel v8s and v12s, For the weird ones I have a gas flat 14, and diesel i5, i7, i9, v10, v14, v16, v18, v20, and v24. I also have a lot more (tank) engines + sounds I was planning on adding on another mod.
I'm now back home and working on prepping this mod to release it very soon. Did a bit of fine tuning, and added a new engine + sounds and custom colours to the engine textures. Here are a few sneak peaks.
Where did you get that lowboy trailer? Is it included or a separate private/public mod Also those Engines and upcoming configs looks badass f**k, though I haven't seen one specific thing you should do and that is a single wheel for the rear axles!
So the lowboy was in a mod called MStrailers which I got through the MS Creations discord server. It doesn't work very well at the moment, but I can give you the link to the server if you want it. As for the wheels Its already done, but I have an issue with the left last rear tire not appearing that I have been trying to fix.
OK i'm nearing the end, made the inverted cabs work with sleepers, and created an inverted cabover cab. I think I'm Going to make versions that also work with parts added by bella's semi pack and EFC's twin steer mod (with their permission) like the twin steer cabovers sleeper cabs and the overhead bunk cab.
