The mod is not packaged properly, most likely an oversight. Extract the archive and then get the "vehicles" and "art" folders that you'll find in one of the two original root folders ( "modinfo" and a long one, they are in the long one) and bring them back to root. delete the long named, now empty, folder. re-zip those three folders and it'll work. As for the wheels missing on the rear rear axle, got the same issue, didn't figure out a solution yet.
oh it's real easy. you know what a .zip file is ? --- Post updated --- from what I could figure out, there is 9 files missing from the "t85_frame" folder compared to the previous version. two of them named in a way that relates to wheels and tires. now, I know nothing about modding this game, so it might not be related, but that seems the most obvious to me. my plan now is to try to put those files back and see what happens.
ye i know what that is but i never neeeded to extract them all and then put them back but i dont drive the truck often anyway when i want to drive a truck then i can go in american truck simulator but thanks for telling the problem
ok, I fixed it. those two files were the problem. I'll update the post soon with a step by step issue 1: nothing shows up Solution: 1. extract the mod archive somewhere 2. in the extracted folder you should get two folders named "mod_info" and "gravil_t-series_expansion..." 3. open the "gravil_t-series..." folder 4. select and cut all folders and files in that folder 5. paste them in the parent folder, the one with the "mod_info" folder in it 6. delete the empty"gravil_t-series..." folder 7. rezip the archive. 8. make sure that when you open the archive, the first folders are " art" "vehicles" and "mod_info" 9. it should now work issue 2: no 3rd axle wheels on t85 frame Solution: 1. download both a copy of v2.0 and v1.7 of this mod ( older version can be found in version history tab) 2. open both files with winrar ( it has to be winrar as far as I know) 3. in the v1.7 archive, navigate to: vehicles/semi/t85_frame 4. in that folder, select the fles named " semi_tires_r_85" and " semi_wheels_r_85" 5. drag those files in the same folder you found them, but in the archive of the v2.0 6. confirm 7. now it should work when you put this modified version of v2.0 in your mod folder.
Wait, just curious. Where's the link to the commons mod? If anyone could give me a link. That would be great.
i put all of the files from the gravil folder to the other one and zipped it all up and deleted the now empty gravil folder and nothing shows up
