Gavril Engines Reworked Hi! I started working on a project a few weeks ago. I felt that the engines available in 90s Gavril cars and trucks were a bit bland. Don't get me wrong @gabester, they're good engines, but a bit too simple, too unrealistic as well (considering the the Grand Marshal's base, the Buick Park Avenue, came with a V6, and Chevy trucks had various V8s and even a V6). A 4.1L, 4.5L, and 5.5L for every car. So I widened the scale a bit. There are downsides as of now. The engine meshes are the exact same. There's no V6 mesh, or V10 mesh. Only I6s and V8s. If someone can help, it's greatly appreciated. There is sound for each engine but it's from Forza so I can't release them here. Is it possible to elsewhere maybe? DISCLAIMER: All of these engines are made for the realism of choice, performance, and fuel economy. They are based off of various Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler Group engines and specifications. Here we go. ________________________________________________________________________________________ 6-Series Engines (6 Cylinders) 3.8L V6 Output: 185 HP @5000 RPM 225 FT-LBS @3800 RPM Made only for the Grand Marshal, as no other vehicle needed it. The D and H Series had the 4.3L. 4.2L V6 (Related to 3.8 V6) Output: 235 HP @5100 RPM 267 FT-LBS @2700-3600 RPM Made only as an optional engine for the Grand Marshal, for a mix of power and fuel economy. Bored and stroked 3.8L. Requires a special transmission. 4.3L Inline-6 Output: 200 HP @5300 RPM 230 FT-LBS @2000-4000 RPM Made only for the D-Series and H-Series platforms. 8-Series Engines (8 Cylinders) 5.0L V8 Output: 280 HP @5400 RPM 306 FT-LBS @4000 RPM Gavril’s staple engine, made available in every vehicle. 5.7L V8 Output: 325 HP 354 FT-LBS @3800 RPM Available in every car made. 7.1L V10 (Related to 5.7 V8) Output: 313 HP @5200 RPM 432 FT-LBS @2400 RPM This was a specialized engine for use in HD pickups and commercial D and H-Series vehicles. It is made from a 5.7L with two added cylinders, tuning, and other modifications. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Yeah I threw a very torquey V10 in there based off the Triton and Magnum V10s. You people will have fun with that! REALLY great for towing around town, and freeways.
