game stuck too large for monitor

    i accidentally set my game to borderless 1080p but it doesn't show me the full edges, like it thinks that my monitor is bigger than it is. all the things i have read online about rewriting things in files those files i cannot find. anyone know how to revert to default settings at least?

    Pressing alt+enter or tabbing out of the game changes it to window mode allowing you to access the settings again
