I haven't found anything about this so I'll post a new thread here. Maybe a month ago, the update window popped up while I was booting up BeamNG, and by mistake I declined. It said it will recheck in one week. Well game hasn't patched for a month or even more now, so is there any way to manually check for updates? Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: I found a update.exe.old in my BeamNG.drive folder, but was never marked as .exe so I actually always overlooked through it lol
But why has the updater turned into a .old file? Anyway I managed to delete the .old so It's .exe only, and it's working again!

There hasn't been an update since September. Whenever the game updater launches it wants to replace modded files with the defualt ones. This will not get rid of any mods you have installed. The developers are working on a huge update called the Race Update. Check their blog for more information. Please search before you post. You say you did, but you didn't do it correctly. If you had searched titles only from the advanced search page, you would have found all these threads and many more. 7yKN4.png

All you have to do is rename update.exe.old back to update.exe then it should work

Did you read the entire message you just quoted, it actually said that he sorted the problem in the exact same way you just proposed.
