So pretty much whenever I connect my wheel and try to play, IE. drive or whatever, my FPS drops like crazy and another problem, even though I inverted my pedals it still is forced like it is 100% throttle. I've tried lowering my graphics, disabling shadows and others but I couldn't find anything on YouTube or anywhere, only just input lag for wheels. If someone has any idea what's going on and could help that would be super appreciated.

    What steering wheel?

Please try disabling any mod you may have installed.

I need more information in order to be able to help. What steering wheel are you using? Did you disable all mods to see if one of them was the cause of the framerate drop?

The few times it happen i generally respawn or change the vehicle so i havent dug much into it. I AM using a mod as my default vehicle, my automation creation. I can test to see if it stops when i get home, removing all mods. Im using an old OLD MS Sidewinder FF wheel. It has been working great, this sort of lag/fps drop is new but could absolutely be connected to a mod or the amount of mods i have.
On my behalf theres no need to adress anything but since i brought it up i guess you now want to know lol.

It's perfectly normal for the game to slowdown a bit the moment you connect/disconnect a device. If that's what's happening, then it's ok. If however you're getting low fps during all the time the steering wheel is connected, then that shouldn't happen.

I'm not using no new fancy wheel because I am broke af, I'm using the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback wheel too, but I don't think it would be the wheel as it works perfectly fine with any other racing game, Assetto Corsa, F1 2017 & '15 and DiRT Rally. I was not using a modded car, just a 200BX

Not to be sassy or anything, but yes it is happening even after 10 minutes of painstakingly going through every option possible with 2fps
