About 3 weeks ago i could run the game just fine but now i lag pretty bad and whenever i crash into a tree or something it is like extream lag why is this.

When the game updates, it resets all of the graphics settings. You probably just need to reconfigure your settings to what they were before. If you have the money, I'd recommend upgrading your video card.

For many people the lag is actually CPU not GPU. Not possible to tell unless the OP releases his hardware details. However your probably right, I'm just saying that you can't make that assumption.

Easy way to tell if its CPU or GPU that are lagging behind, hit J to pause physics, if the frame rate is still low while physics is paused, its GPU, otherwise its likely CPU.
