alright, so fun story: a few weeks ago, my G29 started doing something interesting: mainly pretending it was not in use. for any G29 users, heres what im talking about: make sure you're on your desktop, and have nothing open, just G HUB, now turn your wheel in any direction. normally, it would go back to the position before you turned it. anyways, back to Beam

now, when you spawn into a map, it works fine, lets you steer easier, and doesn't immediately go back to a 0 degree angle when stationary. that is, until you switch to a different app, which for me is usually Edge okay look, its a great browser, okay? then the issue begins: my wheel randomly ignores the FFB settings, and instead decides nothing is open.
the fun part? Beam still detects it as a active input method, and it still reacts to a K-Series driving off a cliff because
i was writing a forum post and not paying attention (don't text and drive, kids)
now there is a temporary fix to this, which is to plug/unplug a different input method, like a controller. sure, it lets me use the wheel properly again, but it doesn't really fix much, changing to a different window (or just simply alt+tab'ing) will "break" it again. i cannot tell if its a bug that keeps happening, or im simply being cursed by the simracing gods for buying a Logitech wheel. but lets just say its been getting annoying.

Going to paste a reply I had for another user I hope it helps

In the menu go to options > controls
In the forcefeedback tab you'll see a configuration section you should see your wheel bind in my case it is called (x axis) select the bind you will see a window that allows you to fine tune the force feedback

Where it says force feedback configuration >enabled
Check the box and click apply, then select the bind again and re enable the force feedback this should fix your issue
