G25 Manual Sequential Gearbox Mapping Problem

Hi guys,

Want to know how can map de G25 Manual Sequential Mode in Beamng.

I shift to sequential mode on the G25 shifter, to change gears on car with sequential gearboxes manually, not using the paddles.



I tried to map in beamng to pull down to upshift and push foward to downshift.

Meanwhile the game inform that up and down on the shifter are mapped to 1 and 2 gears when use the H-pattern mode.

How can i solve this?

I've never actually seen this on a shifter before, the G25 is old school but so much better than the G29 and 920 we have now when you switch to the sequential dial on your shifter, is it a different button that shows up as being mapped?

Because if it is say like ShifterKey_15 (3rd) or 16 (4th) as is on the G920 I have, if you switch your modes does it come as a different number, as if that is not the case I do not think it is possible to map it to a point like the binding for 3rd or 4th (what you want is up for 3rd and down for 4th), the bindings will be like ShifterKey_15 and ShifterKey_16. But I don't think that it will work due to the fact that if the Shifter_## doesn't change when you switch the dial, the mappings will just overlap and confuse the game.

I tried this for an 18 speed for the T-series, but the overlapping of the bindings just meant it wouldn't work. I know the similarities are a bit of a stretch, but I see how what you are trying is similar.

 

If you need to change gears in sequential mode you need map ShiftUp an ShiftDown in settings for your pull down and push up. It will be 1st and 2nd of your shifter. You HAVE REMOVE 1st and 2nd from H-pattern set. Set the settings to default back (remove your set) when you don't drive sequential anymore.
