Hi my name is Jimmy and I am having trouble with the fullsize, aka Gavril Grand Marshal, not working. I was messing around with the fullsize_police.jbeam file to make the light bar produce shadows but something messed up and I can't figure out what it is. It's probably something simple that I'm overlooking. If somebody could tell me how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Jimmy
Do this to get the modified/broken files restored: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335&l=english It's highly suggested not to edit directly the original files. Instead, copy the file you want to modify in Documents/BeamNG.Drive/vehicles/vehiclename and the game will load it. If something is wrong, simply remove that file to make the game load the original one instead.
I'll give it a try to see if it works. --- Post updated --- Well, I can't get to the site It won't load. I'll try the other one tonight. What I'm trying to say is that the car won't even load up so can look at and drive its just a blank screen I'll post a picture so you can see what I'm dealing with. I'm not mad or anything so don't take it this that way. Don't know why I didn't clarify what happened first. I have done this before and it didn't break but I don't know what happened this time.
It's probably the modification you made. A comma placed in the wrong place or similar errors could make an entire vehicle stop working. The link I posted above contains the guide on how to restore your modified/corrupted game files using the Steam 'Verify Cache' feature.
Yeah I was thinking that's what it was and I tried the Verify Integrity thing last nigh and it said there where two files that where missing or something like that. --- Post updated --- Here's the pictures, and yes the picture with the water is exactly what it does. --- Post updated --- I have the game on another computer at home that has the game on it so i could just go and get the original file off that one. Why didn't I think of this before I could just do that. --- Post updated --- Sorry if I caused any trouble but like they say it's always good to ask for help first.
