I like the full size, but it's up to you. In a lot of games, I use the numpad arrows for moving the camera (look right/left/back).
I've had a tenkeyless for a long time to save space for a narrow desk/driving cockpit hybrid I made myself. I remapped beamNG's camera and debug controls to combinations and have no issues. It has given me a bit of trouble learning blender, there is an option to emulate numpad but it misses some things. If you have space, no need for tenkeyless, I don't think it's worth it to save money or something.
