DODGE NEON SRT-4 2nd generation 2003-2005 By @FR3DDY_CR and @KakashiXX DISCLAIMER !!! this is not a scratch made mod, the jbeam is based on the sunburst and the mesh is from various games so if you're just here to hate on the fact that is not scratch made just don't type because this is my first proper mod that i'm gonna finish and release. So me and my friend decied some time ago to start the like 4th project without finishing the other ones, a Dodge Neon SRT-4 this time tho we decided to stick with it and start actually working on it seriously. This mod is gonna stay unreleased until i am satisfied with the result so don't start saying "PLS RELEAZ IT LOOKS FINISHED !!" it's highly unfinished in this current moment The progress is not gonna be quick due to school for me and work for my friend but this time the mod (unlike the old projects i shared in the past) will be finished since i actually have skill and progress. Q&A : Can i be a beta tester ? no :snotfish: Will there be the stock Dodge neon configs ? No. Will there be customization ? due to the car being a tuner car it appeared in games like juiced 2, older nfs games, etc... so yes there will be customization, a lot of customization Do you take suggestions ? Yes and no depends if it's doable, something worth doing and if i feel like doing it How close is it to being released ? let's say i was wrong it's not coming before summer :cri: Credits : me : ripping the 3d models, jbeam, scratch making textures and baking ao maps, implementing the brake glow mod, remaking the materials 15 different times or something, scratch making some models (exhausts, acr parts, etc...), fixing the props, UV maps, etc.. some of the scratch made stuff i made (with the help of @Dennis-W and @JΛVI) @KakashiXX : putting the mod in game, making the props, making the shifter work, making the gauges work, making fixes to textures and model @Lordlichi2006 : teaching me how to use blender, how to make materials, how to fix textures and a lot of other stuff... thank you <3 @Baconzez : teaching me how to use modifiers, how to fix model issues, fixing the lights meshes and baking the lights @JΛVI : making engine customization parts (supercharger, twin charger and cams tuning), helping with the modelling and especially being a great friend and morally helping me :3 @PowerstrokeHD : providing engine jbeam with near perfect torque curves @Dennis-W : making the suspension jbeam and provviding feedback and fixes to the body jbeam, help with modelling, radiator grille texture, modelling and texturing the SpeedLine 2110 wheels @Inn0centJok3r : giving me permission to implement her brake glow mod @Porsche lover : doing the OEM colours for the neon @Necronomic : jbeaming the whole thing @SaiMonicL : fixing the brakes position, helping with the implementation of the brake glow @iRetr0x and @DaddelZeit : permission and creating the script to make the cammed engine work @Redknee : engine sound, samples, and other sounds related stuff @Limitless_Pain : helping with the gauges and texture related stuff @portal3i : bullying me during the develpment of the mod Enkei (discord user) : Scratch making a bodykit for the neon turn 10 studios (forza motorsport 4) : forza aero parts :trol:, fenders and other model stuff, Oz Ultraleggera model Juiced 2 : tuner parts, base model bits, and other model related stuff ACMP discord server : bride and recaro seat options Beamng : the sunburst jbeam and pessima suspension model Dersin : https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/chrysler-edv-edt-2-4l-turbo-engine-1443603 : engine model engine model pics : (twin charger kit made by @JΛVI)
Awesome! Will it have the following? Standard models. Plymouth and Chrysler (CADM/EUDM) rebadges. RT models. Taxi configs. Pre-facelift (2000-2001) First facelift (2002) Third facelift (2003-2005) Canadian facelift (2005)
Very nice! This will go great with the dodge magnum mod on the forums. We really need more late 90s-early 2000s American cars in the game
Update @Dennis-W offered to make the suspensions for the neon so this will mean that the driving will be basically perfection And thanks to @PowerstrokeHD for the engine jbeam with near perfect engine curves I will add both of you tomorrow to the credits when I'm home after school Thank you so much guys <3
Due to the base used, it will require a bit of model reworking on my part to get alot of the stock config parts to fit right, plus I want to have accurate models for engines for the cars they came in, it is something we are looking into for future updates but no promises.
