Frame rate capped at 60 fps

Is anyone else experiencing a 60fps cap? All my settings in game and my hardware should allow my frame rate to go well beyond 60, but it just won't budge. I used to be able to get around 80 or so, so perhaps it's something with the new updates? I'm running the latest experimental build.

 

What's the refresh rate of your monitor ?

 

they said in one of the dev blogs that they caped the frame rate at 60 for the time being

 

Your monitor's refresh rate is probably 60, so anything over 60fps makes absolutely no visual difference.

 

Actually, my monitor's refresh rate is 144hz, so 60+ makes a lot of sense.

obviously we don't know for sure what refresh rate your monitor is, but most people have 60hz and because of that, we will automatically assume anyone asking has a 60hz monitor until otherwise stated

 

Will you post a link to your monitor ? 144Hz is crazy.

It's been around for some years now. There are even 2560 x 1440 monitors at 144Hz.
