On Hold FR10:2010 F1 car

Hey! This mod was made in roughly an hour and a half and is essentially a well done meshlap lol.

I just wanted a 2010 f1 car in the game so I just did it I guess.

This mod does not conflict with the base FR17, so they can coexist.

A lot of the mesh is shared with the FR17, but most skins still work(well enough lol theres a few issues but its not THAT bad) and DRS is non functional(it wasnt created until 2011)

Update time! Pretty much just added some different noses and some general fixes

I have an issue where the nosecone isnt appearing. Otherwise looks like a good adaptation of the fr17. Do i need any dependancies? Im on 0.28 so i doubt that the version would be an issue.

 

This is really good even if it need more work, like fix shading issue or UV, don't stop to work on it

yeah that was a minor issue with the first version. i fixed it in the update posted. This mod was made in 0.28(the fr17 is somehow still working) so version is not an issue. the issue was that the 2 alternate noses did not work but i have again patched that, thank you tho!

 

I cleared the cache and all worked well nice job. Something i have noticed is that some liveries from the fr17 are showing up in the livery selector but they end up being white. I think this variation of the fr17 has incredible potential. I think if you spice it up with some PBR and engine sounds it could reach the top page quick. Nice work, ill keep up with how its going.

a few of the liveries seem to be not there, so ill just end up deleting the ones that show up white.
PBR is something I wanna do but dont necessarily know how to do. Ill see what I can do on that one.
I am certainly going to update the sounds, possible with real samples from f1 cars of the time(sound modding the FR17 is suuuuuper easy, just take a look at the v6 sound mod someone did for it)

Where is the nose, before I just went to the part menu and selected nose 1 and it would appear, but with the new file it doesn't

 

try clearing your cache maybe?
